Movement Type

Description

The half kneeling FSP press is a good exercise to strengthen your arms, core, glutes and chest. The resistance band on one side adds an imbalance to the pressing motion increasing your core strength to stabilize the press as you complete the movement. This exercise also increases your rotational muscle and back mobility. Learn more about properly executing this exercise with the video above.

Regression

Make this exercise easier by moving closer to the anchor to reduce the amount of tension on the Slastix.

Progression

Make this movement more challenging by placing dominant hand closer in the middle of the Fit Stik Pro, or use two Slastix bands to double the resistance.
