Why use slastix resistance in your squat?

This squat variation is a great assisted movement to help teach people proper squat mechanics. On the flip side, you can turn this into a squat jump and make this a great movement for more advanced athletes.

We utilized the VITL Kit for this exercise. The VITL kit is versatile all-in-one resistance band training system. The kit comes with attachments to work your whole body. It can be used by personal trainers, fitness enthusiasts, and weekend warriors. The VITL Kit adapts to where you train and how you train. If you don’t need the whole kit, you can hit this exercise with just a Slastix and a Swivel belt!
