It’s Halloween, and as much as we don’t want to admit it. Our diets are slipping. It seems every holiday those few extra pounds get shrugged off because well, it’s the holidays. Yet, wouldn’t it be great to put on those skinny jeans and not have to worry if they will actually zip.
We wanted to help combat those extra pounds with a little challenge. We figured why not challenge yourself and possibly a friend to be a little more healthy. Especially while you indulge on the sweeter side of life this Halloween. So grab your Son of the Beast and combat your candy intake with these workouts.
The Challenge
We all know just how easy it is to pound a bag of candy, so of course we know the feeling of guilt when it’s done. Lets change that! With every piece of candy you eat follow through with the workout listed below.
Do your best. We know it’s hard to think about working out while eating junk food, but give it your best attempt and have fun!
The Workout – Son of the Beast
Chocolate // 10 Sprints
Chocolate: basically any sort of candy that involves some sort of chocolate.
Hard Candy // 20 Jump Squats
Hard candy: Nerds, Runts, Gobstoppers, Jawbreakers, and those Cinnamon things
Chewy Candy // 10 Back Pedals
Chewy Candy: Skittles, Twizzlers, Starburst
Lollipops // 10 Side Shuffles
Lollipops: Tootsie Pop, Carmel Apple Pop, Ring Pops, or any other sort of lollipop
Sugar Bombs // 20 Burpees
Sugar Bombs: Candy Corn, Pixie Stix, Nerd Ropes, Candy Pumpkins, Smarties
Sour Candy // 20 Double Hand Slams
Sour Candy: War Heads, Sour Patch Kids
Taffy // 10 Bear Crawls
Taffy: Air Heads, Laffy Taffy, Salt Water Taffy
