Taking a wider hold on the bar with your hands will make the press easier. Another option is to use a lighter resistance Slastix.

Progression

Increase the intensity of this exercise by taking a narrower grip on the end of the bar without the Slastix. Another option is to stack two Slastix for more resistance.
