Choose your length and resistance.

Not sure which length to choose?

  • Focused on precision work or isolated movements? Start with the 24".
  • Building a training foundation or not sure where to begin? The 36" is our most popular length. Use for rows, presses, rotational work, it does it all.
  • Training for sport or need full range of motion for squats, lunges, and overhead work? Go with the 48".
  • Tall athlete, long pulling movements, or need serious distance from your anchor? You want the 72".

Not sure which resistance to choose?

  • New to resistance training or focused on mobility and activation work? Begin with Light (15 lbs).
  • General fitness, upper body work, or sport speed training? Medium (20 lbs) is where most people land.
  • Experienced with resistance bands and ready to build serious strength? Step up to Heavy (25 lbs).
  • Power athlete, advanced training, or loading up lower body movements? You want Very Heavy (30 lbs).

When in doubt, go lighter, you can always progress up.

Slastix is the future.

Stroops’ original design for safety sleeve elastic resistance bands solves two issues: accelerated breakdown of resistance bands through continued use, and the inherent danger present when bands break mid-session.

Unprotected resistance bands offer no protection in terms of wear and tear from you using your band on the go. The more damage your band suffers, the more rapidly it deteriorates. The immediate result is a weaker band, and the eventual result is a break.

A Slastix band is wrapped in a fabric sleeve that protects it from cuts, scrapes, abrasions, and other forces like sun exposure, which quickly deteriorates naked tubing. The sleeve also prevents hyper-extension by maxing out before the band overextends, while stretching long enough to ensure you get the most out of your workout. Take it anywhere, whether you’re warming up at the gym or wrapping it around a tree trunk, and have the confidence that your band remains protected and long-lasting.

Limitless Versatility.

From full body warmups to shoulder strength and mobility, the Slastix resistance band is the tool for it all. With two built in clips you can hook into any base or attachment, including handles and bars.

Unlike traditional weights, the Slastix resistance band provides smooth resistance throughout every movement, helping challenge muscles through the entire range of motion. This makes it a perfect tool from beginners to advanced athletes.

FAQ's

What makes Stroops Slastix different than standard resistance band?

Slastix features Stroops' patented safety sleeve elastic technology. Unlike uncovered resistance tubing, the elastic is enclosed inside a durable fabric sleeve that helps protect the band from nicks, cuts, abrasions, and overextension. The sleeve also contains the elastic if it breaks, helping create a safer and more durable resistance training experience.

Which Slastix resistance level should I choose?

Choosing the right resistance depends on your fitness level, training goals, and the exercises you'll be performing. Here's a general guide to help you find the best fit:

  • Light – Ideal for beginners, general fitness, focused mobility and activation work.
  • Medium – A versatile option for everyday strength training, functional fitness, athletic conditioning, and balanced upper- and lower-body workouts.
  • Heavy – Great for experienced users looking to increase strength, build power, and add more resistance to compound movements.
  • Very Heavy – Designed for advanced athletes and high-intensity strength training, providing maximum resistance for challenging lower-body and full-body exercises.

What Slastix length should I choose?

The best length depends on how you plan to use your Slastix.

24": Great for shorter-range movements, upper-body exercises, and more compact setups.
36": A versatile option for many general resistance-training exercises.
48": Provides additional range for full-body movements and exercises requiring more distance from the anchor.
72": Best for movements that require maximum range, larger training spaces, or greater freedom of movement.

If you plan to perform a wide variety of exercises, having more than one length gives you the most training flexibility.

Can I use the Slastix with other Stroops products?

Yes. The Toner is designed to work seamlessly with the Stroops ecosystem, including anchors, racks, handles, door attachments, and training kits. This allows you to expand your workouts over time without replacing your equipment.
