Combining Slastix to Fit Your Training
Slastix training can be adapted to fit a variety of training objectives. One way to make Slastix more versatile is combining them together. There are two ways to combine Slastix: Stacking, and linking. But when would you use each method?
Stacking
When you want more resistance, think stacking. Stacking can be used to increase resistance for an exercise by clipping two Slastix side by side to the attachment of your choice. This is the same concept as adding weight to a barbell. Stacking is especially convenient if you are using a VITL Kit.
Linking
The other method of combining Slastix is called linking. You should link Slastix if you want a larger training zone or a smoother resistance. The training zone becomes twice the size because you have the two Slastix linked together end-to-end. The training zone is now twice the size which means it takes twice the distance resistance. This allows for a “smoother” resistance because the resistance is now going up in smaller increments. Try these two methods of combining Slastix out in your next training session.
