Be Thankful & Grateful

by | Nov 23, 2017 | Opinion, Uncategorized | 0 comments

It’s the greatest time of the year, time for reflection and thanks for all that we have. I think today is really a day to look back and reflect. Don’t get yourself down over all the things you’ve neglected. Instead, look at all the good.

This year may have been hard, and that’s okay. All of us are a work-in-progress, so it’s alright to be down sometimes. Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from working towards your goals. It takes the mindset to say you are worth this to keep going, to know the change you will see in two months will come from you and your self alone. But don’t think of tomorrow.

Instead, let today be a day to be thankful and grateful Be grateful for the love you receive and give everyday. Be thankful you have the body you do, because it allows you to accomplish your goals. Be grateful for you failures. Without them you’d never know how far you can push yourself.

Start using Stroops in your training

Be thankful for the aches and soreness that remind us we are one step closer to our goal. Be thankful for the moments we didn’t know we could keep going, when we wouldn’t let ourselves quite, even if our minds kept saying we should.

Be thankful for your self, the bruises and breaks we endure and that you haven’t quit yet. Be thankful for it all. Most of all be thankful for the journey. You’ve created a foundation, a stepping stone to something greater; something some time ago you never thought you could be.

Take today to remember you and the journey you’ve take and be tankful for it. You already have done more for yourself through just beginning, so be thankful for how far you have come, and remember to be grateful for the journey that is still yet to be underway.
